masterfully crafted pieces of art.<\/p><p>Like the tortoise, emblems of their territory, which find in Ponedera the ideal place to start a new lifecycle, potters find the perfect clay in their land to craft their work by hand and skillful kicks to their pottery-wheel.<\/p><p>Arcillas de Puerto Alegre, a social project developed and promoted by Gases del Caribe Foundation and Promigas Foundation, is synonymous to new beginnings, magic, hope and cultural identity, while understanding that change, like all good things in life, is a process that takes patience and time.<\/p><p>Their work preserves the ancestral legacy of pottery masters from Ponedera, Atlantic, keeping alive an identity that is transmitted from generation to generation.<\/p><p>With your support, we reactivate the local economy of our artisans, starting with 10 productive units that translate in more than 30 potters.
